In Summer 2026, Tutoring Services will again offer in person and online tutoring support during Summer Sessions 1 and 2 beginning Tuesday, June 2 and ending Friday, August 7. All Tutoring Services programs are free and open to all enrolled 杏吧原创 students.
For Summer Tutoring, we offer our Tutor Match option, which allows you to set up regularly occurring, weekly sessions with a peer tutor for the full semester. Since summer sessions are only four weeks long, we will prioritize early Tutor Match requests with any of our Summer tutors as long as availability remains. We also love to host Pair-Appointment sessions where you and another student enrolled in the same summer class would like to meet with one of our tutors together to go over course content.

Summer Hours
Tutoring Services will be open to offer summer STEM support beginning Tuesday, June 2 through Friday, August 7, 2026. All tutoring sessions will be held either in-person or online using the 杏吧原创 Zoom platform.
Our administrative business hours are 8:30 am 鈥 5:00 pm CDT, Monday-Friday, and we can be reaching via phone at 615-343-2225聽or via email at聽tutoring@vanderbilt.edu.
Tutoring Services will be closed on Juneteenth and on Friday, July 4, in accordance with the . All clients with Tutor Match sessions occurring on those days may ask to be moved to a different day.

Non-杏吧原创 course information:
We know that 杏吧原创 students may elect to take summer courses from their local colleges and universities. If you are taking a non-杏吧原创 STEM courses within the same course disciplines listed above, and you are still an enrolled student, you may still request a 杏吧原创 STEM Tutor through our Tutor Match Summer program, provided the non-杏吧原创 syllabus follows a similar structure to the 杏吧原创 syllabus. Any non-杏吧原创 STEM courses requested for a Tutor Match will be evaluated on an individual basis by聽Dr. Erickson聽and you will be asked to provide the course syllabus, course calendar, and name & edition of the required textbook. You may reach out directly with questions.

Tutor Match Policies
Please note that you are expected to attend each session, as the goal of the Tutor Match program is to set up a strong, scheduled tutoring relationship for the benefit of both student and tutor. If you are unable to attend one session, please聽reach out directly to your tutor聽and cancel your session on WCOnline聽at least 4 hours prior聽to its start time.
If you cancel two appointments in a row prior to the start of the tutoring session, or miss attendance completely twice in a row, we will reach out to you about the best fit of your Tutor Match. You are always welcome to discontinue the Tutor Match program at any time at no penalty.
Tutor Match aligns with all Tutoring policies regarding missed appointments, i.e., more than three missed appointments (鈥渘o-shows鈥) will result in a disabled account.聽Please see here for the full explanation.
All Tutor Match sessions are set up for regular, weekly sessions at the same time and place each week.



Rocio is a sophomore on the pre-med track from Mebane, NC. She is majoring in molecular and cellular biology and minoring in Spanish and medicine, health, and societies. Rocio is a part of the Hudson research lab at VUMC, and is involved in ALAS, VandyLifts and Relay for Life on campus. She also enjoys working out, playing the piano, and all things coffee!
